The WSOP is upon us...

...and I wasn't planning on trying to qualify since (a) I have been mostly playing cash this year and (b) from all accounts the organisation is a bit of a shambles at the Rio. However, as the date approaches I haven't been able to resist the lure of "the big dance" so have been playing some satellites for the PokerStars 150 seat guaranteed qualifier this coming Sunday. So far I have managed to bubble 3 times and spend almost the equivalent of what it would cost to buy in directly to the damn thing, which is what I will now do. As Howard pointed out "$370 is only a medium sized bluff at $5/$10".

Expect a tale of bad beats on Monday...
