Why do bad things happen when you're down?

So having played like a muppet and lost 3.5 buy-ins at $1-$2 I switched to $2-$4 to get something back. About 3 hands in I call an UTG raise from a 18/14 player with JT on the button. Flop come AKQ, he leads out, I re-raise, he shoves, I call. He has AA and the turn brings a king...

My BR on Full Tilt at the moment seems to be swinging between $8k and $6k. Every time it looks like I'm getting a good run going I have a knock back and am back down to where I started at the beginning of the month. Currently on $6,200 after the above -$1k session :-(

Well the good news is that your knockbacks are taking you back to where you started, and not into the red proper. See it as a consolidation phase perhaps ?

Mat - just noticed that in May07, the current month, you have exceeded your previous record number of site visits from back in Jun06. Admittedly it's still < 100 total but a record is a record and you've still got a few days left in the month!
